SOUTH STREAM "Welding the partnership"

The event, named "South Stream - Welding the Partnership", celebrated the Russian-European cooperation that forms the foundation of the Project and marks the start of his implementation.

Inspired by the shape of the CH4 gas molecule, a camp consisting of five  dome tents was erected on a 6,000-square-meter floor area. In the largest tent, a new 360° documentary film on the construction of the pipeline provided a memorable three-dimensional experience. The highlight of the ceremony was a live broadcast from the control center showing how the valves that allow the gas to flow through the second string of the pipeline were opened.

Attendees also included Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak,  Other high-level officials and ambassadors from the countries involved in the South Stream Project were also present.

Responsibilities: 

As the only Russian speaking member of the team, I assisted a Project Manager on high-level responsibilities (listed below):

• Budgeting

• Managed concert program

• Artists logistic and accomondation

• Project execution and close-out
